Welcome to Module 2: Why Trust Matters
Welcome to Module 2: Why Trust Matters
Examine why trust is the foundation that allows educators to learn together, take professional risks, and act collectively.
Welcome to Module 2
PLCs depend on honest conversation, professional risk-taking, shared responsibility, and follow-through. None of those conditions develop without trust.
Module 1 established what effective PLC work looks like. Module 2 turns to the foundation beneath that work: whether team members believe they can speak honestly, ask for help, challenge an idea, admit uncertainty, and depend on one another.

A Friendly Team That Stays on the Surface
Dr. Sarah Mitchell has protected weekly PLC time. Maya Chen, Carlos Ruiz, Jenna Brooks, Tasha Green, and Evan Price are cordial and cooperative. They exchange resources and avoid open conflict.
Yet no one says when a lesson failed. Assessment results are discussed generally. Questions about practice are softened or avoided. Team members leave with separate plans.
What Is Missing?
